Tired of reading about all that is negative in the media recently? For a refreshing dose of positive thinking, check out the little monkey delivering a daily positive news headline or anecdote on digital billboards across Tampa Bay. "Kismet" the monkey has been spreading the good news every day since 2009 began and people are definitely paying attention.
Tampa resident Paige Lorenz noticed the monkey on the digital sign at Dale Mabry & Waters Ave. on her daily commute and sent an email to Clear Channel Outdoor, curious as to what the monkey was advertising. The very next day, the monkey was sporting a wink and the message "Hey Paige, Thanks For The Email!"
Although the messages aren't an advertisement for any service or product, they do display the ability of digital signs to create a dialogue between an advertiser and the community.
